How Does Morpheus8 Work for Melting Fat and Toning the Body?

What can I expect of a body contouring session with Morpheus8?

During Morpheus8 treatment, a local anesthetic or topical numbing cream is applied to the area of the body that is being treated. Then, the Morpheus8 device is used to target stubborn fat cells.
Microneedling only targets the skin up to 2 millimeters. Morpheus8 can target the deep dermis and subcutaneous fat to 8 millimeters. This allows deeper fat contouring and body remodeling, which produces excellent results.
The entire treatment takes between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the patient’s individual needs and the areas of the body receiving treatment.

Does Morpheus8 work on cellulite?

Morpheus8 has proven to be very effective in treating cellulite. The device can be adjusted to target even deeper layers of fat, up to 8 millimeters deep.

Does Morpheus8 offer permanent results?

Morpheus8’s results are permanent. Typically, the best results are seen after three treatments, which may be scheduled four to six weeks apart.

Following the first three treatments, many of our clients return for maintenance sessions every one to two years.

Does Morpheus8 have side effects?

One of the best parts about Morpheus8 is that it has minimal side effects. Patients may experience some swelling, bleeding, bruising, and redness within the first 24-72 hours. However, those “side effects” should resolve quickly.

What are your hours?

What is Morpheus8?

Do I have to do anything the night before treatment ?

Avoid Alcohol at least 48-72 hours before and after your procedure.
Avoid strenuous exercises up to 72 hours after your procedure.
Avoid scheduling your procedure 2 weeks before important events.
Avoid Dental appointments 2 weeks prior to and after the procedure.
Avoid high temperatures for at least 48-72 hours post procedure.
Do not touch or apply makeup on your face for at least 24 hours post-procedure.
Do not wear makeup on the day of the procedure.
No facials or facial massages for 2 weeks post-treatment.

What are common side effects?

What can I do to minimize bruising?

To help alleviate bruising, we recommend taking arnica or bromelain, eating fresh pineapple. Do start arnica and bromelain pills two days prior to the procedure. This is an over the counter pill, it is not required for post care.

When should I call the office?

Please call the office IMMEDIATELY:
Have fever and/or chills
Have discolored blotches in areas not injected
Have blanching of injected areas
Notice the area appears red and/or hot to the touch
Have severe or increasing pain.

Botox post care

Avoid Alcohol at least 48-72 hours before and after your procedure.
No laying down for 4 hours after neurotoxin placement.
No exercise for 24 hours.
No facials, exfoliating, or retinol after treatment for two weeks.
Allow 2 weeks for the neurotoxin to fully work and for any touch-ups.

Will my face look frozen?

In some cases, people have an excessive amount of Botox caused by treatment or have Botox administered by untrained professionals using poor technique. In these cases, the effects of Botox produce an unfavorable, unnatural look.

To ensure that you look as natural as possible, it’s recommended that you’re treated by an experienced medical professional who takes the time to accurately assess your facial structure, how much Botox you need, or whether you even need it at all.

Aside from being fully trained in administering Botox, Ana is also a nurse practitioner and an expert in women’s facial anatomy, as such, you will only get the best and safest treatment for your face.

You should also not experience any numbness or lack of skin sensitivity more than a few days after the initial treatment.

Who should avoid having Botox?

Pregnant women or breastfeeding mothers
Patients with certain conditions affecting the connections between nerves and muscles (such as Myasthenia Gravis and Eaton-Lambert Syndrome)
People with a previous allergic reaction to botulinum toxin, or with allergies to egg or human albumin
People taking aminoglycoside antibiotics (such as clarithromycin, gentamicin etc.)
Anyone with a skin infection in the area to be treated
Caution should be exercised in any patients taking blood-thinning medication such as Warfarin, Rivaroxaban, and Clopidogrel, simply due to the possibility of severe bruising.

When should I begin treatments?

The sooner the better as an anti-aging preventative. However whilst there is no particular age limit, those with deeper wrinkles may benefit more from dermal fillers instead.

When will I see effects after treatment?

Effects may take up to 2 weeks post treatment to fully show, though this can be sooner. Re-treatment is usually at least every 3 months, this varies from person to person ranging from 2 to 5 months on average.

What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers are made from a product called Hyaluronic Acid (HA), which naturally occurs in the body. Its key role is to absorb water and transports nutrients to the skin ensuring that the structure and volume are maintained. As we age the production of HA in the body decreases as such the skin loses volume and elasticity. Dermal fillers help to re-volumize the skin by injecting HA back into various areas of the face.

When can I expect to see results after treatment?

The effects of dermal are noticeable immediately after the procedure. These effects are long lasting, non-permanent and reversible. Generally most clients return for a follow up treatment approximately every 6-12 months.

What happens during treatment?

Prior to treatment, we remove any makeup and cleanse the area to be treated.
We use a topical anesthetic on the area which we will inject.
The product is placed using a cannula or needle, which helps to keep swelling and bruising to a minimum.
Discomfort during the treatment should be minimal.
However, if you are sensitive we can use a local anesthetic although in most cases this is not necessary or a nerve block for pain.

The treatment takes approximately 30 minutes.
